Aerospace & Aviation Sector Skill Council (AASSC)
AASSC is the apex body for skill development in the aerospace and aviation sectors, incorporated as a Section 8 non-profit Company (under Companies Act 2013) on 12th September 2014. It is one of the 36 sector skill council formed under the aegis of National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), National Council of Vocational Education & Training (NCVET), New Delhi and Ministry of Skill Development & entrepreneurship, Govt. of India.

Role of AASSC
- Bridges the skill gap in India’s aerospace and aviation sectors by developing industry-driven training programs and certifications.
- Prepares National Occupational Standards (NOS) and Qualification Packs (QPs) for various job roles, aligning with NSQF guidelines.
- Affiliates and accredits Training Partners and Assessment Agencies pan-India.
- Conducts assessments and certifies skilled candidates for the aerospace and aviation industry.
- Promotes hands-on training, internships, apprenticeships, and job placements through national initiatives and industry partnerships.
