MOHAMMAD SHAHOOD
Founder, Shafsky Aviation | Former Dy. General Manager Security, Air India
With over 35 years at Air India, Mohammad Shahood has built a distinguished career defined by leadership, integrity, and operational excellence. Based at Indira Gandhi International Airport, he rose to Deputy General Manager, earning a reputation for precision and reliability. He now leads Shafsky Aviation, bringing deep expertise and a customer-centric approach to private aviation.
During the Vande Bharat Mission, he coordinated 1,103 international flights, enabling the safe return of over 200,000 Indian citizens. He worked seamlessly with key agencies including Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Immigration, and Customs, demonstrating strong crisis management and operational command.
He has served as an On-board Security Officer for VIP and VVIP charters, including delegations with the Prime Minister of India to the United States, and coordinated international tours for the India national cricket team with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
His experience spans marquee events such as the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, Indian Premier League, Women’s Premier League, and the International Film Festival of India 2025, consistently delivering seamless execution at scale.
